The story of the People of the Cave in Surah Al-Kahf highlights the importance of seeking refuge in Allah during times of persecution and holding firm to faith despite external challenges. It recounts the tale of a group of young believers who sought refuge in a cave to protect their faith from a tyrannical ruler. Allah granted them protection by causing them to fall into a deep sleep for many years, preserving their faith and shielding them from harm. This story serves as a lesson about the power of trust in Allah and the importance of remaining steadfast in one's beliefs, even in the face of adversity.

The parable of the Two Gardens in Surah Al-Kahf underscores the transient nature of worldly possessions. The story narrates the tale of two men, one of whom had been blessed with two beautiful gardens, abundant crops, and wealth, while the other had a garden that was less fruitful. The man with greater wealth became arrogant and boastful, forgetting the source of his blessings and neglecting his gratitude to Allah.

Ultimately, Allah caused his garden to be destroyed, leaving him in regret. This parable serves as a reminder that material possessions are temporary and can easily be lost, and that true success lies in recognizing the blessings of Allah and being grateful for them.

Translation:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

[Praise be to Allah] who has sent down to His servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance.

[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward

Wherein they will remain forever.

And to warn those who say, "Allah has taken a son."They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.

Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.

Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.

And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground.

ABU DARDA REPORTED ALLAH’S APOSTLE (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) AS SAYING:

IF ANYONE LEARNS BY HEART THE FIRST TEN VERSES OF THE SURAT AL-KAHF, HE WILL BE PROTECTED FROM THE DAJJAL. (SAHIH MUSLIM)
